Formed in 1993 by David Ondek and John Meehan, the Return expanded their playlist in order to accommodate all types of night clubs, weddings, and private parties. Over the next two years, the Return became a regularly booked act in many Boston, Newport, & Cape Cod based venues. The band’s full 6 piece line-up, including keyboards, drums, bass and female vocals, has great depth and is capable of infinite musical textures.
The songlist covers more than 5 decades of the best in popular music - from classic sounds to current hits. the Return currently performs an average of 100 shows per year, appearing at over 50 public locations and a multitude of private events. With over 1,400 professional performances behind them, the band is well versed in entertaining crowds of all ages and musical preferences.
When planning a wedding, we work closely with the bride and groom to custom tailor the songlist and plan the flow of the reception. We will learn 'first dance' and other special songs if they are not already in our extensive repertoire. No other band caters to the needs of the bride and groom or plays longer with more enthusiasm!
